As I stood in the kitchen washing the dishes this afternoon I couldn’t help but wonder. If we have unrealistic expectations where love is concerned.
Do we set ourselves and our relationships up to fail with these exceptions?
I think it can be so easy to get caught up in the idea of what we actually think love should be. When in reality it is oh so very different. It’s not all romance and fairytales as we would like or hope it to be.
No in fact love can be testing and even hard sometimes…
Love is selfless it’s putting your loved ones needs or wants before your own, and trusting them not to hurt or take advantage of your love!
However if you’re willing to take the chance and go into it with your heart open to all the possibilities it can be truly wonderful…Remarkable even!
So fall, fall hard and love like you’ve never loved before.
Never be afraid to love or of being loved.
